How I can overclock my gateway g6-400 November 1998 system. There are no jumpers on my motherboard and my BIOS software won't let me adjust anything, what do I do?
I have a 200 watt power supply and an asus 7700 deluxe agp card a 120 mm fan blowing in the front, 2- 80 mm blowing out the back and an alpha 1ho dual fan heat sink on my p2 secc 1 processor w/ 256 Mb ram. please help

Errrgh.... overclocking a name brand system - not a nice task.
You might want to try SoftCPU from H.Oda, problem is you'll have to keep your system on all the time. Best way would be to buy an old slot 1 Abit or something.
Hope this helps in the quest for the almighty kill 😉

The gateway bios has no fsb adjustments, so softfsb was what I used for some time. In case you want to upgrade, the 200watt oem ps(w/external 92mm fan) is indeed athlon capable.
