OverClocking a Duron 700 on a Compaq (Yes compaq is a suck)

Yes I know Compaq is a suck but someone must have one of these compaq motherboards out there. I was reading an article and it said that the compaq boards have broken off jumpers that can sodered on and then oc. I also tried to change the bus to 133 and it won't boot at all (even with the pencil voltage trick up to 1.85). Thanks in advance

if you have to solder your m/board in order to o/clock, shouldn't you be thinking of getting a better m/board which natively supports o//clocking? m/board soldering can be tricky even in expert hands!
