Overclocking A-Data ram

error8

So I just bought the A-Data gaming series 2x2gb ddr2 800 mhz, 5-5-5-12. The reason behind this is their overclocking capabilities, as I was hoping for running them in 500 mhz FSB, so this would keep the ram at 1000 mhz.

But I max out the ram at 900 mhz or something. I've tried everything, increasing memory latency even at 6-6-6-20, increasing voltage to 2.2 V ( I'm scared to try higher ), voltage for north, south bridge, every voltage that I had there. 🙂
It's not the FSB limiting me! I've tested it.

I bought this ram after seeing this review http://www.overclockersclub.co...ws/adata_gseries/2.htm

They got these modules at 1002 mhz using the stock 1.9 V. I don't get it. I know I shouldn't take overclocking for granted, but I hoped for more out of them.
Is there anything I should try, like messing with trfc or other stuff from bios, to hit the magic 1 ghz number???
