Can anyone help me on some tips to overclock a celeron on an Asus CUSL2? I'm trying for the 900 mark and everytime I set it to manual with 100/100/33 it won't boot up, the voltage is at 1.5. I have PC100 ram. So any ideas would be helpfull, or atleast to get it past 600? Thanks for your help.

DOH!!! That voltage is way low to make the majic 900#. A P3 requires 1.65 for its base voltage why not try that and if you have good cooling (Alpha or sim...) you might have to go up to 1.80 and might still not make it stable... There are ways to up the voltage past that too but heat does become a factor then... Good luck dude...

My celery II 633 is rock solid at 950 with 1.80 volts. Temp is 33C with golden Orb. You should be able to get 900 with higher volts. Don't be afraid, these cpus can take a lot of overvolting before they fry. Go up in steps until is boots and then test stabilty, and then go up higher if not stable.

I had my Cely 600@750 stock voltage (1.5V) aiming for 900 at 1.75V until somebody told me (also in this forum) that I should set my voltage to 1.80V or higher. I set it at 1.80V and disabled my AGP (I have SY-6VBA133 and Voodoo3 2000 PCI -- some say setting AGP aperture down to 4MB on my mobo helps in OCing) and now is stable at 900Mhz.
