As the title suggests, I'm looking for some wisdom into how to effectively overclock a 460(gpu in general).
I have a 2500k overclocked to 4.5 and a 1gb 460(specifically http://www.canadacomputers.com/produ...item_id=033437) and I play at 1080p. I plan to upgrade my gpu to 7xxx when they're released, but I don't feel my current gpu will be enough for bf3.
I just don't know where to start when overclocking a gpu, so any help would be much appreciated. I currently use MSI afterburner to monitor/mess with the fan speed of the gpu and I've heard it's quite good for overclocking purposes as well. Also, would it even be a noticeable difference in performance should I actually overclock the 460?
thanks guys
