Overclocking a 2400+

Only way to know is to try. Every chip is different. Make sure you got the cooling and start seeing where you can take that CPU.

Obviously lots of variables, but I would say 2.2ghz (11x200) is almost a given, even at default voltage. 2.3-2.4ghz is a good possibility too if you have good cooling, maybe need to raise the vcore a bit, and if your other components are good. Any higher is getting quite uncertain and will likely require a bit of tweaking if even possible.

If you wanna overclock, make sure to get the mobile 2400+, and the 35w o/c a little better than the 45w usually.

note that he's talking about a mobile 2400+.. a regular 2400+ would have a limit at 2.2 ghz

What revision is the board? Is that the A7N8X-E or regular A7N8X Deluxe? If it's below Rev 2.0 then it doesn't officially have the 400fsb.
