Overclocking a 2400+

Sorry if this is a repost...

I'm trying to see what I can push my 2400+ to...any ideas?

it's at 150x15 right now...

What's the highest anyone's gotten the 2400+?

My old T-bred B 2400 will do 12x200. It's not Prime95 stable at that speed, but it's stable enough to run most games I tried when I had it that high.

I've got my AMD Athlon XP 2400+ (2.0 GHz, 266 MHz fsb) overclocked to 2.5 GHz (12.5x200 (400) MHz fsb). I'm using a very high voltage, though, of 2.15 volts and am using a 5200 BTU air-conditioner to cool it.🙂

Lol a 5200 BTU air conditioner, why do you need 2,0 + vcore to run at 2.5?? thats really high

I have mine at 11x205mhz (2260Mhz) at 1.8 volts with watercooling. It will run at 2300-2350 @ 1.85 volts stable but it need some insane cooling.

2.15volts! I dont care if you lived in the northpole with 10 ft of snow sitting on your computer, at that voltage your just asking for the chip to die.

North pole on Pluto wouldn't be good enough?
