Well, i haven't seen anyone anywhere else post bout this, so maybe the problem is unique to me. I'm trying to overclock my 7900 gto, and it just...doesn't work. I've tried both atitool and rivatuner and both of them are completely unable to change the clock speed. As soon as I change it and click apply, it reverts to default clock speeds.
My understanding (based on rivatuner documentation) is that the 7900 series required driver level clock changes, since the clock speeds are changed by the driver whenever I start something 3d. Both Rivatuner and Atitool are supposed to be able to do this, but for me, do not. Modifying the bios apparently doesn't work for these cards. Anyone got ideas?
