Overclocking 6800gt and WoW?

So far this is the only game that I can't run overclocked.
I was able to do Far cry, Guild wars, etc at 400/1.06 rock stable, but with both 61.77 and 61.9X drivers, the client crashes unless I run at stock.
Anybody able to overclock while playing WoW?

Maybe its the difference in 2d/3d clocks and WoW's ability to run in windowed mode or something.

I have not really heard of videocard overclocking causing a game to crash. Usually it will cause screen corruption or artifacting.

could it be instability of your connection online? I know certain modems I've had have been sensitive to overclocked cpu.

has to be the video card. once I run it stock the game never drops a beat. Rock solid stable no matter how many time i minimise to desktop to surf or chat on IM.

Anybody with any experience with this similar problem?

if you are getting error 131/132, then blizzard likes to claim its a 'hardware' problem. video card wouldnt make it crash, but ram, cpu, mobo would. A lot of people get these errors, which makes me think it isn't always a hardware issue. Usually its from a file getting corrupted.. me and another guy i talked to had the exact same problem in the exact same spot on 2 different servers. We both crashed in the same spot, same error. I had to delete and reinstall a file to solve the issue. Why a file gets corrupted so easy, i don't know.. if im memtest stable, can run super pi32, benchmark all day long and not have an error, then i don't think its my hardware. :(

of course it is still in beta, so things may be getting fixed as it goes.. but this type of error (131-132) have been happening in closed beta for a loong time now.
