Overclocking 45nm with P35

Hello guys,

I have a P35-DQ6 mainboard. I'm planning to get a E8400.

Do you know of someone who uses a 45nm C2D on a P35 ? What is the overclock capability ?

I know that E8400 does like 4GHz on air, but that's on X38 motherboards. Would a P35 hinder the overclocking capabilities of E8400 ?

I highly doubt it, I think plenty of people have be ocing them on p35s already with great results.

Yeah I would guess so too, but still I've been searching the net and nearly all of the overclocking results are with X38's.

your P35-DQ6 will most likely have no problems getting any e8xxx to 4 ghz on aircooling
