Hello one and all. A quick summary:
I had Gigabyte K8NS Ultra 939 mother board overclocking a 3000+ with DDR400 Corsair RMA with these settings 100% solid:
HTT: 4x
Memclock: 166mhz
2T Timing: Auto
Mem Timing: Auto
CPU Voltage: 1.475v
Bus Overclock: 240
This gave me a nice solid overclock. I just upgraded to a Gigabyte K8NF-9 PCI Express mobo and tried these exact same settings and MANY other over two hours and the highest bus overclock I could get is 215!!
Any ideas? Using all the same components. I only have a 420 Watt Power Supply and I upgraded to a Geforce 7800GT. Do you think the overclock can't go as high because of shortage of power?
