Overclocking 2500+ barton in Shuttle

I decided to see how the temps would do if I overclocked my barton in my SN41G2 V3 shuttle. But when I did, the CPU showed up as being 1100 mhz. So I went and changed everything, and now it doesn't go up or down, no matter the settings that I use. I cleared the CMOS hoping that would help, but it did not. Anyone have any idea on what the problem is?
