Today I get to see what's the cause of my overclocking problems.

I bought a 2.4c pretested to 3.36 (thanks to pastorjay) and 2 sticks of 512mb 3500XMS Corsair sticks.

Right now I am testing the new memory with the old CPU, to see which one refused to overclock :) Maybe it was the motherboard? Who knows! After current memory tests are done, I will once again attempt to overclock this 2.4C. If it turns out to be the CPU, I'll pop in the next one and see what it does. If that one doesn't work, at last I'll finally know if there really is a problem with the 5:4 memory ratio on the Abit IC7-G :)

Well, right off the bat I know the memory was at fault. I am in Windows at 270 FSB with 5:4 Divider. Before I couldn't even POST with the Twinmos sticks if I went above 250FSB.

Score one for Corsair :)

NIce to see it!!! Ram and mobo compatability could have been an issue as well...

It is, there are more than a few users with CH5 sticks having problems with the ratios working
