i have jus bought a new rig....well 2nd hand but it was a real good deal

P4 2.4ghz 400FSB
768 RDRAM 800mhz samsung
Thermal Take thermo electric cooling unit
Gigabyte GA-8ITXE P4 Titan mobo
9500pro
80Gb 7200 WD HDD

it looks as thought the mobos multiplier is maxed out....it supports 8 to 24 x but as the FSB is 100mhz (quad pumped) 24x100 is indeed 2400 so it seems the only way to go now it FSB increase....is it possible i heard RD ram is very scalable...but i dunno

what u guys sugest?

Yes, all Pentium 4's (and in fact all modern processors except the Mobile Athlon) are multiplier locked.

But yes, RDRAM does scale pretty well (you might want to use 300MHz bus though)

My P4 1.6a (400MHz FSB) is currently running at 2.6GHz on the stock cooler and 768MB RDRAM.:)

You have to OC your computer through your mobo's BIOS. Up the FSB and slowly increment the CPU and RAM voltages. If you're new to OC'ing, you should read OC'ing guide articles on the web. Google for them.
