According to Chris at http://www.slota.com, Asus hasn't decided whether or not to keep the multiplier dip switches on board. We have three choices (in order of preference):

1) Asus leaves it on, everyone is happy
2) Asus makes two versions of the board, one with, one without (OEM vs Retail?)
3) Asus doesn't include it, we all solder one on anyway.

We'll be able to do it, it's just a matter of how much effort on our part.

If It just takes a set of switches... then even that is ok. :D

I just want it to be possible to change the multiplier. ;)

We have been discussing this question over at athlonmb.com lately. dieu, one of the moderators of that site got a phone call from Asus where they informed him that the release of the A7V has been postponed for three weeks because of "retooling" :Q. That's all he was able to say for now. Let's hope this "retooling" is for the benefit of us overclo...eeeh, endusers! Come on ,Asus, you can do it! Pretty Please!!? ;) ;)

Why would they step back in technology to dipswitches, when everyone else is softmenu, anyway?
