Overclocked HD3650

I recently put together a new system with an Asus HD3650 video card.
Out of the box this card runs at 725MHz GPU clock and 800MHz (1600) memory clock.
I installed a fanmate because the fan on the card was too loud to my liking, now I can barely hear it.
I overclocked the card to 910MHz GPU frequency and 1090MHz (2180) memory frequency. I'm getting a score of 5880 in 3Dmark06.
In Everest I get temps of 36-40 idle and 52-60 under 99% load.
Off course the fan keeps spinning slowly because of the fanmate.
As far as I'm aware these temps aren't too high for this card.

However, I just found this review: review

Now I am completely confused, they are talking about temps of 51°C idle and 84°C peak and achieve only a very small overclock.
And on my card the fan is spinning slower because of the fanmate!!!

Can anyone shed a light on this?

Please could u run ATITOOL .26 ,run the 3dview and then tell me the framerates u get. Just want to see if the HD3650 is better than HD2600XT AND/OR 8600gt.
Also how much better is it from my current 7300GT.

I will do that tonight when I get home.
I'll post the results then.
Do you want the result at stock or overclocked?

EDIT: btw, why not the lastest version 0.27b3?

Both if you can please. Well 0.27b3 doesn't work properly with my 7300GT and I would like to give the HD3650 an even playing field. And Thanks in advance!!

Edit: Could u also give me ur 3dmark06 score breakup - sm2.0, etc.

Indeed.
Well, I have to use 0.27b3 because the card doesn't run under 0.26.
At default speed I get about 335fps, when I overclock to 910/1090 I do get the yellow dots.
CCC tells me the card passes at this overclocked speed: CCC image

It passes 3dmark06 just fine at this speed.
Does this mean I cannot trust the result from 3dmark06?

GPU-Z tells me this: GPU-Z info

Even if ATITOOL gives problems, I'm getting 35°C at idle overclocked at 910/1090 and with the fan running at 35% (thanks to a fanmate). I would call that pretty decent compared to the 51°C at stock of the legitreview test.

When you use the CCC Auto-tune, it overclocks it too far, like was the case with my card and it has been reported many times. Drop the clocks down till you're not getting yellow dots with atitool.

Thanks for all the tests and it looks like the HD3650 is almost twice as fast as my oc'd 7300GT.

Hey if a 25% overclock is a lot then how about my overclock from 350MHZ clock, 350MHZ memory to 594mhz clock and 449mhz memory (though the performance doesn't match even a mobile Hd2600pro stock). Atitool's artifact scan doesn't show any errors.
