Overclock P4 2.6 with Gigabyte 8Ik1100

clocked mine CPU to 3.01 and are stable there with just raise the FSB to 231 is that ok .??

I mean all other settings are default (auto) and memory is 5:4

Well, we're alright with it if you're alright with it. Were you wondering how to get higher, or what? If so, you'll probably need to raise your chipset's voltage and your ram's voltage (vdimm) if you want to keep it at 5:4. Or you could just change it to 3:2. Since you have a 9800XT, you can take advantage of more processor power, assuming you're a gamer.

i was just wondering about memory frequency, set now to AUTO but can change it to 1.3,1.6 or 2.0

what does that mean ????

if it set to AUTO then the memory would be overclocked over 400mhz an up .but if i change it to 1.6 goes down to 350mhz
