overclock on x58. help!

So i have had my x58 rig for about a year and a half now and im going to overclock again. I had it at stock because of issues i was having a while ago. but now i have a few new parts so id like to overclock again, however i need to refresh myself with the options.

my first question is about all the PLL voltages. QPI, CPU, etc

Also i have a question about the uncore and QPI clock frequencies. Do i want to set them or is setting them to auto alright?
