Overclock my x2-3800

Which board will let me overclock my x2-3800 to 2.4 instead of stock 2.

Asus A8N5X, A8n-e or Asrock dual sata?

Never really overclocked so ill need some help my ram is 1 gig of corsair value (2 512 sticks)

(want to use eithr the stock air cooler or get that Artic 64 pro

You will probably achieve that speed with either board with the proper tweaking. Personally, I would go with the Asrock board.

I think this should be in the mobo section, but w/e.

i started to put it in the mobo section but since it said Proc., and overclocking i figured ide put it here anyone with a A8n5x/a8ne how far have you gotten yours to

it depends on your X2 3800+ more than the mobo.
if you have a sh!tty 3800+, even Asus A8N32 Premium won't make a difference

EDIT:
Mine was running easily 250x10 @ standard VID, RAM 100% Synchronized
Now it's running 300x9 @1.55V (166/200 RAM Divider -> I need 2GB DDR600 RAM)

There was an excellent Athlon64 Overclocking guide posted here (do a search).
Mobo is just one of the (easiest) component to overclocking bliss.
Now getting a golden CPU is very YMMV

werd. it doesn't get any easier than 10 x 240 + 6:5 mem ratio for ddr400 though :)
