Overclock - Loses Onboard Audio???

Don't know what I'm doing wrong - I've been able to overclock my P4 2.6Ghz to 3.26Ghz, but then I lose my onboard audio - it just doesn't show up anymore in my hardware anymore! When I scaled back down to 2.6Ghz (default), I got it back again. Everything else seems to be running fine on my Abit IS7. Any thoughts?

Yes that can happen, the onboard audio is controlled by your Northbridge (methinks) and when that heats up, an intense overclock could probably disable or corrupt its usage. This exact problem happened to my friends Asus P4PE. Try a northbridge cooler or don't push your proc so high. We don't all get amazing overclocks.
