Overclock GF3 Question

I have a PNY GF3 Ti200.. i am looking to use like powerstrip or nvwave to oc it... if i where to try to overclock it to like 250/500 and i burn the card out is there a chance that it could do any other damage besides the card (motherboard, montior etc).. this is probaly a stupid question i just wanna know before i blow out my new rig.. thanks
