Overclock E6600 on DS3 changes the PCIE bandwidth ?

I overclocked E6600 on Gigabyte 965P DS3 by setting 9x333Mhz = 3.0 GHz. The PCI-E frequence was set to 100MHz. Memory runs at 333x 2.0 = 667 MHz. BIOS is F10 version. The setup is easy and stable.

But in CPU-Z, the video interface shows only x1 link width out of the possible x16 speed. The bottleneck in PCI Express aslo affects the onboard sound on the PCI-E bus badly.

I can automatically get back x16 PCI-E when I set the CPU clock to default 2.4 GHz, but as soon as I overclock, the video PCI-E goes back to x1.

How do I get stable CPU overclocking and x16 video together?

In the DS3 you may have to boost the PCIe voltage slightly and increase the PCIe frequency to 102-105 mhz to keep it running at x16 while overclocking.
