well, I problem is as follow. I've own this system for 3 almost months now, and when I first bought it, the system was able to run at 117mhz * 8.0 = 936mhz.
But now, I can't even get it to run stable at 110mhz * 8.5 = 935mhz.
When I try 107 or 105, the system runs fun, but except when I play games such as Counter-Strike, Quake 3, Swat3, they sometimes lock up.
Do you guys think it's the IDE devices? Or the RAM? I am thinking to buy a Mushkin PC150, but is it really worth it? Becuase it's pretty expensive for me, since I am still a high school student.
Please give some advices..... suggestions......
appreciated....

Have you tried increasing your I/O voltage to max, not sure what that is on KT7, should be close to 3.5v.

You can also set the speed of your RAM to the absolute slowest and increasing the speed slowly after testing for stability.
