overclock an x800 SE

can anyone oint me in the direction of how to overclock a videocard?

more specifically an x800 se

Actually you've overclocked your CPU. A GPU is so much easier. All you do is increase the core and the memory until it craps out on you via software. And thats it pretty much.

thanks alot, thats just what i was looking for.
for some reason, i remember a while back seeing some guide of how to overclock a GPU that involved like soldering capacitors on (really complicated stuff)

i was unaware that there was proggies that could do it.

I remember you dbuttcheek... you were the guy who felt gipped because you bought an X800SE over a 6800NU. No worries man. That X800SE is just as good as any other card. When people told me not to keep my 9600SE I ignored and then voltmodded the heck out of it (from 325/400 I went to 421/500). Good luck in ocing that mofo.
