yes, if you do proper research and dont try anything crazy... its 99% safe..

Also the omega drivers have a new OCing utility.
Radclocker is good too.

With any of the programs listed simply raise the core speed in 10Mhz increments and test for artifacts (aquamark) when you start to see artifacts bring the speed down a little. Once the core speeed is stable do the same thing with the memory speed.

Attempting an overclock with the 9600 is an excersize in futility, it will be reset to stock clocks again and again.

I am new to Ati. What exactly are the omega drivers and do they work well??? What is the most stable????
