I noticed that krk3561 was banned after his use of the logout link in a faked babe thread. Obviously this was done in jest, and is quite avoidable by those who are careful, and only those in a mad frenzy to see babe pics were duped, for the most part. Hell, I was even caught by it.
This is not a new trick, I've seen it dozens of times in the years past, and after further research, it seems he's been given a 3-month vacation. Now, where's the fairness in that? That hasn't been the case in past uses of this prank, and its not exactly malicious enough to warrant a punishment like that.
Now, I know the first thing said will be, "After so much abuse of this, we've had to crack down," or something of the like. If that's the case, as I assume it is, at least put out a warning for christ's sake. If a warning has been made, it certainly wasn't obvious, since I'm not aware of it, either.
Of course, the whole point of this is to suggest leniency on krk3561 and his use of the rehashed prank. I don't really care about the politics of this forum anymore, but few things piss me off as much as gross inconsistency and sudden flexion of power without warning against those who are really just being playful.
I look forward to the response.
According to his user notes this was the second offense in less than one month thus the severity of his time out.
That said I will unban all those who were given a vacation for that prank. However, if any of them are involved with anything remotely similar such as blatant Neffing or Trolling they will be permantly banned from these forums.
