Over/mis-use of "hella"..

People from So. Cal who've been around us Norcal-ers have picked up (and have been wrongfully using) the Norcal use of "Hella" around my school, and it's atrocious to say the least.

me: How's your day
them: MAN OH MAN! I JUST HAD A HELLA GREAT DAY!

me: How's it going
them: HELLA GREAT. JUST HELLA GREAT.

me: blahblah something intelligent here blahblah
them: WOWWEEEEE. I HELLA DON'T GET WHAT YOU'RE HELLA SAYING.. HELLA!

me: You suck.
them: go to hella.

me: Stop being dumb.
them: what the hella...

me: Hello.
them: hella!

Holla!
Hella!

Etc.

 

what hella are hella you hella talking hella about hella?
