Dose anyone know of an overclocking program that works within windows ?
I'm using powerstrip for my video card but want something for the cpu.
My K8T NEO FISR2 board came with corecell but it dosen't work that well.
My cpu is an Athlon 64 3200 with a thermaltake venus 12 heatsink.

It won't be stable, and any change you make will more than likely freeze it anyway.... simply do it in BIOS it allows for more options to be tweaked... k thanks bye...

Well, there are a few advantages of overclocking through window software. It's nice to be able to instantly downlock the cpu when you are doing crucial work and really don't want things to crash. I once had a coppermine celly that I would overclock from 500 MHz to 800 MHz in windows. I ran at 800 MHz for gaming, but would back off when doing software development or other crucial work.

And what other adjustments should i make such as memory timing ect..
