Over clocking my 2400xp on a asus a7n8x delxue version 2

When I ever set the fsb higher my 2400xp reads as a 1800xp what can I do?

The A7N8X Deluxe seems to be pretty picky, mine has acted kinda odd too. Personally I would suggest you flash your bios to 1005 or 1006, then set everything in the bios to the default setting and reboot. Then change one thing at a time and reboot. And I do mean one thing at a time ie: change system performance from auto to user defined and then reboot, then change memory frequency from by spd to 100% then reboot. Basically change everything from auto to user defined, and/or whatever you want to do, then start changing the numbers,... rebooting after every single change. Dunno why, but it does work better this way.

Mine is completly fine from going from CMOS reset to my custom settings no problems at all. Not sure why it would read as a 1800XP what do you mean by high fsb do u mean above 133? or like 200? visist The Nforcers for ALOT of info on this board and help the Forums are awsome.
