For me, the biggest thing is stress. It's kind of funny; my face will be basically clean at the begining of the week, but by thursday I start getting a few. Same if I have a huge test or have a lot going on.

exercise more, have more veggies, have more water. they won't work 100%, but they'll help to a large degree. just think to yourself: every time you exercise and sweat like a pig, your pores are getting cleaner.

yup exercise is the key...teh most you sweat, the better...i guarantee that if you go out and sweat a lot, it'll clear most of it up.

Was just going to recommend that site.

I like the Purpose soap they recommend, and also I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub in the shower every other day. A bit fruity (literally), but it does the job and my face generally stays clear as long as I use it and a bit of the Neutrogena Acne medication each night. The key for me was preventing oil, which doesn't mean washing more often (which causes irritation).

Oh yeah I also wash my pillowcase every week, more often than I wash my sheets. And of course exercise, good diet, etc.

I learn this from my GF a while ago. This really helps for people who have oily skin and its a good way to save money.

You know the kind of soft paper that comes along when you ask for a gift box at a department or a nice clothing store? The kind of paper they use to wrap around clothes?

Well you can use the paper to absorbed the oil from your skin. It helps

Is it true that if you have oily skin you get less wrinkles when you're older? I've heard about it, never got an actual answer. Whenever I get a pimple I put some of the Mary Kay acne lotion on it and it's basically dried up and gone by the next day. It's $5 a tube on amazon.
