Disgusting. The sad thing is, most people don't care very much because this is an Islamic country...

...and a good many of those who care the absolute least... are themselves Islamic. Many are too busy hating and blaming everything on Israel/the US/the whole western world to care much about Muslims murdering other Muslims. On the list of who to hate/blame, it's sad how low the Taliban and other groups of absolute nutjobs rank, who do little else but terrorize their own.

Personally, I think it's sad all the way around- that children are used as little more than fodder in that backwardass society. Shit like this will just keep happening and as said in this thread, few will care. Not locally (otherwise they'd collectively stop putting up with this shit) and not globally where most don't expect anything better.

This was done in retaliation for innocent people who were killed in recent battles as the Pakistani govt battled Taliban/AQ areas in their country. As least that's the claim by the Taliban/AQ who committed the act.

Right. You know, this is very telling and I can't believe people of Islamic countries don't notice this. If something like this happened in a decent country, the world would make a huge deal of it. When stuff like this happens in an Islamic shit hole, its a head line for a few days and then back to the weather.

What would actually happen if that was done:

Millions of people all over the Islamic world (even those thousands of miles away from this 'chunk of land' would claim all of their problems are due to its existence and that it must be pushed into the sea. Many would spend more effort and time launching rockets and jihad attacks against this place than they would feeding and taking care of their own. Any attempts of the residents of this land to defend themselves from slaughter would be condemned by useful idiots the world over as "evil nazis how dare you!!!!!" Heaven forbid these people actually became adept at defending themselves.

Diehard Islamists living within this state would split off, claim to be victims of the rest of the state, elect a fundamentalist nutball regime to repress errr sorry I mean represent them and claim that their terrible existence has nothing to do with the nutbags they give power to, but because this state of infidels won't roll over and die on cue.

In short, you'd simply hand the crazy middle east one more whipping boy to blame all their troubles on and to wage a constant state of jihad against.

This was a retaliation killing against Pakistan for going after al queda. When countries fight terror like this and suffer retaliation we need to unite with them and show Pakistan and the rest of the world that their dead mothers and fathers and children are our dead mothers, fathers, and children.
