I had a 200 slot cd binder with lots of Games/Music and home video/file backups. I was going over to my friends house and one the way back some pr*ck pushed me, and next my binder is gone. If you guys see someone selling my cd's anywhere on the web please let me know. I had over 20 retail games in it!!! and almost the rest were music cd's (all original! :brokenheart: ). There were a couple of cd's with sensitive and private information. If anyone wants to return it or sell it for some price i'll pay up to $500. If anyone find this person and returns my binder they will also get $500. Now the only thing i have left are some original boxes and a bunch of activation keys.
The games i had were:
BF1942
BF Vietnam
Medal of Honor
Counterstrike
Halflife
Diablo 2
Lord of Destruction Expansion
Warcraft 3
Quake 2 and Quake III Arena
Unreal Tournament "Gold"
Simpsons Hit and Run
Serious Sam SE
Sacrifice
Flight Simulator 2004
Project IGI
No one lives forever
Return To castle wolfstein.
Starcraft + Broodwars Expansion
GTA III
Vice City
and many many more games :(
The music cd's included everything ranging from rock to trance. I also had about 10 imported cd's from Japan/and other parts of the world (very rare and expensive)
Please be kind to me if anyone see's something like this on ebay or on any other forums/boards please inform me and you get your reward.
:(

So...you got "pick-armed" as opposed to pick pocketed?

How do you not realize that a bigass binder you had in your hands is now gone? Amuse me here and explain it to me.

Reminds me of a thread a while back where some guy got pushed by another guy way smaller than him and walked off with his $$$ bicycle.

But anyways, good luck getting your stuff back.

Sorry about your loss. Look into encryption next time. Good encryption saves lives.

Very sorry about the loss, but I hope you take this as a lesson. You shouldn't carry that much with you

You should contact the local police. Almost 95% of the time they will find it as well as punish the thief who took it.

I'm doubting the rate of success is that high

You're not a city boy, are you? :( Rule #1 about riding on the subway is keep your wallet in your front pants pocket. Rule #2 is keep any bag in FRONT of you. If you're standing up, put it on the floor at your feet with your foot standing on the strap. Rule #3 is don't make eye contact with anyone. Rule #4 is everyone on the train wants you dead or injured. Defend yourself accordingly.

I rode the subway for more than 10 years, 5-7 days a week, at all hours. It's truly hell on earth...Doom 3 has nothing on the subway.

Always make backup copies and never leave home with the originals

Good advice, but WTF is up with rule # 3?

It's been to my experience that if you don't make eye contact, you're much more likely seen as a victim.

you don't make eye contact because some people (and believe me, some people are mentally unstable/disabled, and i see them ALL THE TIME) might be offended if you stare at them. i don't know about #4 tho but the truth is if someone robs you in broad day light, there will be just a bunch of people watching and offering no help at all. i've experienced something like that first hand.
