Oveclocking 3600+

Have it at 295x9.5 @1.45v right now. Want to get 315x9.5, at least.

VCore is 1.45v, upping it to 1.5v doesn't help, and I don't know what is safe for a Brisbane 3600+.

Fairly certain that heat isn't an issue, idle temps right now are high 30's, load are mid 40's. Can I get a higher HT clock with a higher HT link voltage and/or higher NB voltage? Mobo is a Crosshair so I have a good amount of options for overvolting.

This is my first time overclocking an an A64 (this machine replaced a socketA that I had for quite some time. So I'm curious about the specifics. Is one or the other going to effect my ability to get a higher FSB at this point on it's own, do I need to up both, by how much? If it's not possible to say based only on my first post, that's okay. I'm asking because this is suddenly a little more than I'm used to with my old A7V board with just VCore and FSB clocks.

There's no way to know which of them needs to be raised. Even if I owned a board identical to yours, all boards are different. Mine might need only the HT voltage being raised, while yours might need only the NB voltage raised. Of course, both might also have to have both voltages raised; overclocking is always somewhat of a gamble, and as always, YMMV.*

Have you tried lowering the RAM speed and the HT multiplier?

RAM is set to DDR2 400 already, and HT multi is 3. I don't think I should have the HT multi lower than 3 until the clock is higher than 333, right? From what everyone tells me, it just has to equal something <= 1000MHz.

actually a better rule of thumb is to have it as close to 1000 as possible; a good range is 850~1100.
