Outta System Resources

I got Windows ME for quite a while and everything was dandy until suddenly this weekend i start runnign outta system resources and my system keeps locking up. i got 192mb RAM and ive never had this damn problem before. Anybody got any ideas instead of just clean reformat?

I believe this is a result of programs that, when closed, do not properly release the memory they've used back to windows. It won't matter how much ram you have installed, you would still see the error message. I think realplayer products are notorious for this?

Go to msconfig and clear everything out of the startup file you don't need. If you don't know if you need it, uncheck it, try it and then decide.
