This is likely the case. I lived damn near 22 years in Texas and never once saw a Border Patrol Agent or stop or checkpoint outside of an airport. Hell, it wasn't until I was driving to California that I saw my first border patrol checkpoint (in the middle of New Mexico).

Apparently you were either blind, ignorant or never went anywhere near the border. There's 15 checkpoints INSIDE of Texas. All on major highways and Interstates.

Most are a over 40 miles inside the border............

It is appalling how law abiding Americans are being harassed and bullied by the authorities. Yet you would never see any outrage on this from the big organized conservative groups. Hypocrisy (both liberal and conservative) knows no bounds.
