IMO, let them do what they feel like. Sony and other companies don't really care what you do with your account, but if they publicly endorse it, they are open for lawsuits down the road. Legally, they have to oppose it just to cover their asses.
 
Haha. I paid for most of my drinking my freshman & sophomore years (1999-2000) selling plat & phat lewt from Everquest on eBay before they cracked down on it.
