The thread about the PowerColor ad featuring a 'Power Alien from a best video card planet' got me thinking: why don't Asian tech firms hire native English speakers to translate their marketing messages?

It's not like some segments of our population have to get paid $$$, take college students who would probably do it for next to minimum wage (hell I'd do it for free hardware).

seriously though. america may some day be the china of today. as china grows in power they may become the powerhouse thinkers and corporations and they may outsource "overseas" work to the US...where we become the factory workers of the future.

think about it. there are MILLIONS of highly educated chinese citizens over there...alot with engineering degrees and willing to work harder and for way less money than americans.

it can happen....same applies to countries like India and Japan

I dunno, they have such a large population it'll take a long long time if ever to get the poorer provinces to raise their education standards. Until then, they have millions of cheap laborers in their backyard.
