Every day at work.

We have a lady that works here that is majorly bipolar. She is manic most days but will go into depressive once in a while. She is completely off her shit and a raging alcoholic to add to the fun.

No idea why they keep her around. Any time she is asked if something got done, she has no idea. Then when pressed she will find whatever it is halfway done in a pile on her desk. She even snapped and raged on the new guy for no reason. Was literally yelling at him in the middle of the office. Nothing happened.

Since I'm not around a large population of people much any more its been a while. Unless you count the general idiocy that seems inherent to humans.

I'm trying to think of the last just balls out bizarre/crazy thing I can recall.

For example--there is a guy that lives across the street from me. Severe, severe OCD/Turrets/whothefuckknows what.

every night...some time between 9pm and 12am, he steps outside and yells invectives at whatever entity or idea has slighted him.

Fuck you, Toronto! Fuck you, Egypt! Fuck you, window coverings! Shut the fuck up! Fuck you, San Antonio!

always followed by several slammed doors, another scream or two.

etc.

I've watched him hang out on the corner with a camera on a tripod filming traffic. I've watched him run up the street, wearing his backpack, and the process of trying to get inside his house--up and down the steps several times, turning around to check out who is watching him. knocking on the door several times, unlocking, locking, unlocking the door.

Well he knows someone's watching :sneaky:

A project I worked on several years ago which required me to attend public meetings involving local government officials. There was a local homeless guy with schizophrenia who would show up at all the meetings. Mostly he would sit in back and listen. It was a way for him to get indoors. His other way to get indoors was to hang out at the local library. While at the library he would read all the background documents and reports pertaining to the project. He was probably the best versed person in the room. At one meeting the local officials were discussing ways to weasal out of implementing a law they didn't like. During a pause in the discussion the schizo guy burst out with "They don't often prosecute people for this but it does happen." The politicians went into full "harumph, harumph" mode while the rest of us were tearing up trying not to laugh out loud at the politicians.

I was at Buffalo Wild Wings the other evening and there was a kid there, perhaps 18, who was narrating everything he did, up to and including "That was an inappropriate thought, I shouldn't have thought that." It continued the entire time he was there. He was under the watch of two guardians, parents I assume.

That's one reason I avoid people and things in general as much as possible. I never know what will set me off, although I've mostly been OK since I cut back one of my meds to 1/8th the prescribed dosage.

When I was on the full dosage I was like a ticking bomb waiting to go off. I even made my mom retreat into a corner and cry once. I generally work from home but when I do go into the office I was constantly worried I would lose it at work. Luckily I didn't.

I see my evil angry fanatical hate spewing doppelganger that seems to be everywhere and yet no where around me all the time, in stark contrast to my sweet and feminine self.
