For nighttime, that's not a bad shot, especially if you were using a phone.

I forget that the headlights really ruin the sleekness of that design...looks so much more streamlined with them down. I'm guessing his lights are perma-up because he was having vacuum issues. I've seen the little check valve go bad, and it makes the lights fall down when you rev the engine. :p

Just a regular C2 'vette?

Nice. Not much of an old vette fan, but I can respect the classics.

My wifes grandfather sold his 65 Stingray a few years back. Still not really sure why.

That is my favorite generation of Corvette.
The 1967 Stingray, 427 with side pipes is just pure badass. Easily my favorite GM muscle car ever.

Dunno if it would generally be considered a "muscle car" regardless of the engine stuffed in it. Mayhaps a performance coupe or simply sports car (for the period).

No, vette's are not muscle cars, they are sports cars. Really even Camaro/Mustang/Challenger etc are not muscle cars either. Traditionally they were midsize-ish cars crammed with lots of motor and maybe a bit done for handling.

Well the Mustang was specifically designed for the burgeoning market of employed young women and particularly secretaries.

Take one comment from someone who wasn't part of Ford (Carroll Shelby), rinse, add 50 years, and you get people who make up "facts" like this?

Ok.

Nope. Feel free to find proof.

Carroll Shelby called it that in derision, but your claims are completely fabricated.

That is exactly what a muscle car is...
Whenever I think of muscle car, I think specifically of the Mopar E body (Challenger and 'Cuda) because they're muscle cars, and awesome ones at that.
