Any of you guys use a storage container for your garbage cans? I can't leave my garbage outside without some animal tearing it up. I been leaving the cans in the garage but its getting to that time of the season where I want to park both cars inside.

I saw this on black friday and I wish I bought it for $99

My neighbor uses a deck box and just puts the bags in it. That seems a little bit of a pain since you have to take the bags out and put them in a can on garbage day.

Wish I could just buy a complete "system" that already has the cans included.

Why not use something like this? Put something heavy on top to make it difficult for animals to open them.

We have these, the city provides them. They are picked up with the robotic arm. All of ours have a bungee cord which is attached to the lid and has a hook on the other end which attaches to the metal handle you see in the photo. Keeps critters out and saves a mess if the wind take it.

I don't like my garage to stink, plus, I have two garbage cans, one recycle can and two yard waste cans. I put them on the side of the house behind the fence.

exactly. I usually have the same 5 cans total. The garage smells like crap and there isnt enough room to park 2 cars. I need them to go outside but every time I put them out an animal gets into them or the can blows over and I got tons of crap in the yard.

Metal cans will prevent critters from getting in with the exception of a bear.
Do not put organic material directly in them
Use a bungee cord between the handles and through the lid.
