I bought a benq w1070 projector that I am hooking up to a macbook pro with a wireless hdmi connection via a nyrius prime wireless transmitter. I am having some issues in windows 7 that I wanted some help with.
1) The transmitter works fine in windows 7 with the duplicate displays option set but when I try to change to extended display or to just display over the projector, no signal is emitted.
2) Extend displays works fine in OS X.
3) If I directly connect to the projector via a HDMI cable, I can display to just the projector with no issue, even in 3D mode.
Can anyone imagine why exactly I cannot output to just the projector in windows 7? It seems like it is a driver/software issue but it is a little strange that wireless HDMI vs wired HDMI performs differently. (To those wondering why I would want to do this, if I can activate only the projector I can play 3d movies or games.)
