output games to TV, and have monitor independent?

i have an radeon 9500 pro. i want to output GTA Vice City to the TV and still be able to use the monitor so that i could read a strategy guide/walkthrough. essentially i wanna open the application in the secondary display. i've tried the different overlay settings, installed hydravision and tried ultramon; but no success. any ideas?

you can do it but you cant move teh mouse out of the game unless you play in windowed mode. yull have to "alt+tab" out of the game to scroll on the guied

thanx, putting the TV as primary seemed to work....except no mouse for hte guide...but i guess it will do tho text is albeit small on the TV
