Output from pc to HDTV using component?

Some mobo's have special HDTV output (sometimes with a special port with an external cable). If a motherboard doesn't have hdtv component out, is there a cheap way to convert VGA/D-sub output to component to connect it to an HDTV set that only has component inputs?

I'm thinking about an HTPC based on one of the new AMD 780G chipset motherboards, but none of them appear to have component outputs. My TV only has component inputs. Any ideas?
