I don't know if this was posted anywhere, but I just went to outpost.com and it now shows on their main page that the "FREE OVERNIGHT SHIPPING" is on orders OVER $100.

This blows!
That was the only reason that I ordered from there! :(

This definitely calls for a moment of silence.

THough when they were overnighting me $4 Ethernet cables, I knew the end was near...

I think that an $8.95 second-day option may be available, but this still sux big time. Looks like I can get blank cd-r media at my local best buy for cheaper now.

What a sad way to start my morning.

Guess they went through their venture capital and are now expected to make money. Who would have figured. I just clicked on the Valu-Ram deal and they wanted $12.95 to ship overnight. The Airborne Express guy is going to miss me.

Definitely a bummer! Like everyone else, the free overnight shipping was the main reason I ordered from them. Definitely it wasn't because of their pricing. :(

Next day or 2nd day is the only options? There doesn't seem to be a "put a stamp on it" option. Too bad. I've used them for cheap CD-Rs and USB cables. Thought about buying a monitor through them, but the prices are too high. They'd still have some deals if they had some sort of cheap shipping option. The deal jungle is depleting.

As John Lennon wrote and Yoko spoke: "The Dream is Over".

And, let's face it, anyone who thought they could run a
business where $10 trinkets were sold near cost and shipped
out for next day delivery for free was dreaming or else smoking
some wildwood weed.

Amazon is poised for a hard fall, Wall Street hates on-line
merchants now, funding is non-existant, and everyone is doing
whatever they can to shore up the bottom line.

Yet another flawed business model which I've been able to exploit before their predictable demise.

It's funny, I have a feeling we'll all be telling our grandkids about the days when e-commerce was new and all the deals we were able to take advantage while businesses searched for their place in this medium.

Wasnt' the whole theory behind Outpost that it would cost you less to order from them because they had free shipping and others like Amazon didn't? I wonder what their claim to fame will be now.

Outpost is pretty much crap now, they have NOTHING to offer anymore. Only (ONLY) reason 99% of us ordered from there is for the free overnight on those small items. They have terrible deals otherwise.

This is really starting to hurt. First OD stops with the 155% price match. Then Onvia went gay. Then my B&M OD closes. And now my 50pk spindle of cds that used to come to me overnight for $9.95 will now cost $12.95 more for shipping. The end is near......

What a shame. Outpost was already had above average prices on things, their free overnight shipping was their only saving grace.

Can't blame them though, I bought two antec fans for $10. I'm sure the overnight shipping was more than that.
