Chiwawa626,I was burning coasters too and couldn't figure it out.I then went to "System Tools- System Information"-System Configuration Utility-Startup and BINGO there was the culprit;the ole' "Task Monitor!" I thought I had disabled it but must have missed it.Make sure you disable it and any other programs that might be running in the background.Hope this helps you.Let me know.

I burn at 12x with these (they are only rated at 8x) and I have never had a problem. Working on my 3rd spindle of 50.

This offer has been sliding down the list. I think this offer is worth the bump. I'm working on my second spindle of the 12X and haven't made one coaster yet. I ordered another spindle last night ~8:00 and they delivered them this morning at 10:00. A sweet deal at 50 for $16.95 delivered.

I ordered a 8x spindle a couple days ago for a PlexWriter 8/4/32. Did I make a mistake by not ordering the 12x's? How long do you think these CD-R's will last (as in # of years)?

I wasn't home when AirEx came by, so unfortunately I'll have to wait til Monday to see what they're like.

Already burned the first spindle that I bought for $14.95. Not one problem on my Yammie 8x and my ol' Memorex 2x. Burned data, music and PSX with no problems and no coasters. If you have a good burner and know how to burn CD's correctly can't beat these cheap bastards!

yellowperil:
Airborne blew next day delivery again, so I refused the 8x.
Just got the 12x 80Min/700MB...either greenish clear, silver, or translucent-hard to tell.

love these outpost discs... using nero 5 on my plextor 8/20 and plextor 12/4/32... burned about 75 of the 74minute ones for data discs, and a full spindle of the 80's for CDA with cd-text. not a single coaster, and cd-text burns flawlessly. anyone else notice that you can get close to 82 minutes of audio on the 80 minute discs...? love these discs.

I bought one of these spindles last time for $14.95 and I love them. I backed up my hard drive and burnt all my DC games on to them and so far no bad burns. Audios are great on these cds also. Thanks Bob/NYC for the post. BTW, I use an 8x Yamaha CDRW to burn and like I said, no problems here!

I am using a Creative 8432 and using EZCD creator. I tried burning a CD today using this Kingston CD-R and it screwed up. What do you guys think I am doing wrong? I could also use Nero 5. Some suggestions please. Oh yeah and the CD-Rs are the 74 min 8x kind. I tried burning at 8x.
