Maybe low grade, whaddaya expect for the money.. but even my laptop can read the 80min ones for $15/50spindle... and that means something :) it pukes on a lot of media, expensive or not.. probably just the crappy CD-ROM being a biznitch.
Anyway those 8x 80min ones look great, no annoying colors on it, and I've not burnt a coaster on them yet.

These CDR's are the best! I've burned just about everything on them and they work perfectly. At this price and the delivery time, these are a steal! Highly recommended.

I don't know what you are doing wrong...I have been using these babies for a long time and they have worked as well as any other cdrs for anywhere near the price...1 coast I think and it was my fault. Buy'em up and enjoy!

These Kingston CD/R's are the best!
I haven't used the 8x, but I've burned about 10 cd using the 12x with absolutely no problems.
I burned entire music cd's (approx. 685mb total music) in 7 minutes, burning at 12x on my Plextor 12x/10x/32x writer!!

The people having problems should check their system setup or something or they're using a crappy writer?!?!
With my setup, I couldn't be happier!! :)

No problems with the 8x ones here either. True, my burner is only 2x, but it's also picky (hates Kodak Gold for some reason).

Wish I'd burn some more so I could buy some more before the price goes up. Well, I knew what I was thinking, even if that didn't make too much sense.

I've used almost 2 spindles of the 8x so far, most on an 8x, a few on an older 4x. No problems at all. I'll be buying more as soon as they are back in stock.

I've burned plenty of these CDs at 8x on my plextor drive, and not a single coaster in almost 50 discs....

What kind of CDR drives are you guys using when you guys are having problems???

I've burned hundreds of these and have not had a single problem. I prefer these over the CompUSA since the Kingston has a darker writing surface. That seems to help on certain burners. For $0.26 a CD-R, I am very happy with them.

Make sure and go to Outpost through ebates to grab that extra 5%.

And for the Anti-Kingston people here...
These Imations come out close to the Kingston price,

It now shows $13.95 shipped.

I ordered some about 3 days ago for $14.95. Placed the order at 3pm central time, arrived on my doorstep about 12:30 the next afternoon. I've only burned one so far, but it went without a hitch at 4x running nero.

Personally I like the Imations and the TDKs...better compatibility and better burning in general.

I bought the 50pk Kingston spindle when this deal first came out and I've had nothing but trouble from them.
