Yet another sweet CDR deal.. 50-pack spindle from outpost SHIPPED OVERNIGHT for $12.95. If you're gettin low, this is a good way to stock back up quick and cheap. My roomie has ordered this brand of CDRs (50/spindle also) in the past and we haven't had any problems with them.

You should remove your link. There have been problems in the past with account information access by using the link. To find this 50pk, go to outpost.com, and search for "cdr 50pk". These are the Kingstons that outpost have been selling forever, so its nothing new.

Old deal, but that's OK. These are actually some of the nicest CDR's that I have used. Not a single coaster, even at 12X speed on the 8X rated ones, and a nice labeling surface.

These are great CDs. I get the 80 minute ones for $13.95. Free 1 day air shipping is also sweet. Old deal, but some may not know about. Nice post.

Hadn't been posted (I did do a search first) so thought I'd let everyone know.

Since I bothered to post, I'll go ahead and mention compgeeks.com also has a decent deal on CDRs. They have a 50-pack spindle 12X 80min CDRs for $10.50. Not sure about shipping, so you're on your own there.

I know neither deal is as good as, say, the deal @ buy.com (10 CDRs in sleeves for $1, max 5 per order) but they're good for stocking back up til another buy.com special comes along..

Anyone ever tried
CD-R 8X 80min 700MB 50 Spindle Pack?

Is 700 MB more useful than 640 MB ones?

Thanks for the info.

Iavie: ya i burned 100 or em.. only few costers and that was back in the day when i had my philips 3610.
they work great with plextor.. i burned all of em at 12x and all work fine.

hmm if u're gonna back up stuff i suggest using 80min cds.. why? cause they'll fit more stuff...obviously
also if u burn audio cds 80min are cool becuase you can usually fit two extra songs.

I just went through 50 of the 80 minute ones and not a single coaster. 80 minutes are nice when making longer music cds and to get the extra 60 megs of data when doing a system backup.
