Outlook XP users: how do you deal with spam?

It used to be just 2-3 a day, so I just add it to Outlook's junk filter. But these days, I get like 5-12 a day, and manually adding them to the junk filter is becoming a pain.

Is there any sort of software that you guys use as a plug-in to Outlook XP that provides better filtering?

Norton Internet Security 2003 (NIS2003) comes w/ a SPAM filter that certainly works w/ Outlook & Outlook Express. I believe it works w/ any POP3/SMTP e-mail client though.

Anyway, NIS2003 converts the subject of detected SPAM e-mails to "SPAM ALERT: + <original subject>." There are configuration settings to adjust its SPAM sensitivity.

Once you've got that product installed, all you need to do is define 1 rule in your Rules Wizard to MOVE all "SPAM ALERT" e-mails to a certain folder. (NIS2003 sometimes identifies non-spam e-mail as SPAM, so you probably don't want to do a blanket delete of those e-mails).

How does Norton filter spam? Is it by address/keyword/some intelligent algorithm?
