Everytime I start outlook 2002, I get this error about a program is trying to access my e-mail addresses. I say no and move on, but I get it all the time. I have scanned for viruses with Norton 2002 (defs 9/17/01) and no viruses. Could it be the CodeRed virus??? Someone help me out on this.

It might be this one: W32.Nimda.A@mm

Just hit today, and unless you updated your dat files this afternoon, it may not have been detected. Do a search for all *.eml files, and all riched20.dll files, and check the dates.

I have no *.eml files and 3 riched20.dll files (2 dated 8/23/01 and 1 dated 1/26/01). Is this a problem?? But now, I dont get any errors. I think it was ICQ that caused suspicious activities. Please let me know. Thanks.

Update your virus checked every day for the next few days while they figure out this new virus. If that doesn't work uninstall and reinstall Outlook.

I had this error message that kept coming up in Outlook for ME and I uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked perfectly.
