Outlook Personal Folder Password Protect

I have an employee who password protected his Personal Folder (.pst) in outlook and now when I try to restore it for him it keeps asking for a password, which he claims he never put in and has no idea of what the password could be. Is there anyway to override the password feature and restore it? I have heard of possible registry hacks but I can't find anything.
